THE JOURNEY OF THE GOLDEN JUBILEE BEGINS

The opening ceremony of the Golden Jubilee celebrations was held on the 29th April 2014.The solemn programme began with a Flag march led by one of the oldest serving teachers of the school, Mrs Suniti Verma.Loftily carrying the school flag and matching steps to the echoes of the Golden Jubilee song,she was followed by the founders of the school, Mr DP Galstaun and Mrs LB Galstaun.

The Golden Jubilee Song –‘Shine Karenites’ was sung by the primary teachers of the school for the very first time and introduced the theme for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations which was… ‘Shining To Outshine- With A Golden Radiance’.

The Holy Mass followed,celebrated by Rev.Fr Vincent, who offered prayers and supplications on behalf of the staff and students of the school to the Almighty, to shower his blessings on the gathering and the ceremonial start of the celebrations.

The founders of the school unveiled the Golden Jubilee Logo which was designed by Prerna, a student of Std X.They were also felicitated by the teachers of the school. The morning celebrations filled the hearts of all present with feelings of gratitude,oneness and serenity as they acknowledged the presence of the Almighty in the day’s festivities.
