Eco Task Force of St. Karen's high school comprising students right from std. 6th to 9th were provided with a golden opportunity to visit Tarumitra and admire the natural beauty along with many other informative activities. Students witnessed solar panels, eco friendly houses, organic farming and many medicinal plants and learnt their importance. They actively participated in butterfly tea making ( aprajita flower) and got ideas on how to celebrate festivals in an eco-friendly manner.
Students beautifully presented the five elements of the environment and displayed various placards on 'saving our environment'. An energetic street play (nukkad natak) was performed on the same followed by a song to fuel the spirit of environment conservation.
It is always rejuvenating to be on the greener side, we hope to inculcate more positive energy and conservational awareness through such programs.
