A special assembly on “Feast Day” was conducted by the students of Std – 5 and 10 on 29th April 2024. The programme started with lighting of candles by Principal Ma’am and Vice - Principal Sir, followed by the prayer (Our Father in Heaven). Girls of all the four sections of Std - 5 performed an amazing prayer dance ‘Prem ki Murat’, followed by recitation of the holy Bible. Students of Std 10 presented a small skit based on the value of ‘Joy of giving’. A special prayer was offered by the students for the school management, teachers, students, parents, the poor and needy. After that Aditya of Std - 5A delivered a speech on St. Catherine in which he described her life history and her outstanding work for humanity. The program concluded with a special and melodious feast day song sung by the students of Std - 5. Overall, the programme was very successful. Dignitaries appreciated the hard work of the students as well as teachers.
Children got chocolates from school management, they also performed an activity, where the children wrote short poem on St. Catherine of Siena.
It was an overall pleasant day and celebrated well.
