On 15th July 2023, an in-house training session for teachers was conducted, delving into the theme of "Experiential Learning." The resource person, Mrs. Shalini Singh, guided the proceedings,elaborating the significance of incorporating Experiential Learning within the classroom environment.
Throughout the session,the focus was squarely placed on elucidating the scientific underpinnings of this methodology,drawing upon the profound insights of Kolb's Learning Cycle.Various stratagems to effectively integrate Experiential Learning were expounded upon at length,catering to the diverse needs of the participants.In particular,the educators were encouraged to craft subject-specific lesson plans,ingeniously woven around Experiential Learning as a collaborative group endeavor.Moreover,invaluable techniques to amplify student engagement and discourse were thoroughly explored, thereby fostering an environment of enhanced student participation.The level of active involvement demonstrated by the participants was commendable,as they whole heartedly engaged in all the planned activities. As a result,the training session transcended beyond a mere instructive exercise,evolving into a joyful and enlightening learning experience for all involved.
