The Sociology Department of Humanities presented “Asha – Ek Nayi Ummid”, staged under the guidance of Ajit Mishra and performed by the Humanities students of Class 11 and 12. The play depicted the journey of Phool and Gopal while highlighting sociological issues such as child marriage, gender inequality, son preference, female foeticide, caste discrimination, and migration. It served not as fiction but as a reflection of society, connecting classroom concepts with lived realities. After the performance, Director Sir addressed the students with motivating words. With sincerity and dedication, the students delivered their best to spread awareness and educate the youth.
