Description:
On August 9th, 2024, the students of the Humanities Stream from classes XI and XII presented a thought-provoking sociological play, 'The Sociology of Music'. The play shed light on the struggles of farmers who, despite their hard work, are unable to live with respect and dignity. It highlighted the exploitation of farmers by money lenders and the atrocities they face. The performance skillfully wove together music and dance to convey the contrasting emotions of joy during the harvesting season and the harsh realities of their plight. The synchronized acting and dance effectively exposed the stark reality of the lack of government support for farmers in our country, leaving the audience with a lasting impression."
