St.Karen's High School creates leaders who excel in their lives as well. Investiture ceremony is one of the historical occasions when a school entrusts faith, hope and responsibility with the newly appointed school cabinet. This ceremony signifies the confidence and reliance that the school invests in the newly elected office bearers. St. Karen's High School Investiture Ceremony was conducted in Pamela Hall on 7th May 2024. The event commenced with welcoming the Chief Guest with a sapling followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Thereafter the guests were welcomed with a welcome dance.
Our Director Mr. D.P. Galstaun addressed the council members and made them aware of their responsibilities. The Chief Guest for the occasion, Mrs. Suvarna Sajwan, Commandant of 40 BN, SSB shared her views on the occasion. She was the first combat Lady Officer to join in 2002. She commanded the Contingent in the Raising-Day Parade twice in 2004 and 2005. She represented SSB in various national conferences for women in the police.
The leaders’ march was the next event followed by pinning of the badges. The oath taking was conducted by the Principal Mrs. Seema Singh. Memento was presented to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude. Vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal Mr. Sanjay Joseph.
Our school carefully grooms our student leaders year after year so that they can make their school, their society and their country proud.
Investiture of teachers as counsellors, house moderators,DAC members , Incharge of student council , Head of department of various subjects was also done by the Principal, Vice principal , +2 Incharge & coordinators.
