A career counselling session was organized in the school for the students of class XII on 8th April 2022 on the theme ‘Globalisation of Legal Education and Legal Profession in India’ Prof. Anand Prakash and Prof. SG Sreejith of Jindal law college were invited to create awareness about the careers related to Law. Aditya Anand an Alumni of the school was also a part of the program.
Prof. Anand Prakash highlighted that Law has been transformed from a local to international subject of interest. He stressed that a Law school is not a mere college but an idea. It inculcates the value of leadership in a person. Only a lawyer has the capacity to serve justice in just ways. He emphasized that law is a diverse study, it does not have roots cornered only to rules. It has vast roots like cyber law, agriculture law, commercial law and so on. Prof. SG Sreejith with his interesting anecdotes made the students understand the importance of lawyer in the society. The resource person cleared the doubts of the students. Students were made aware regarding BALLB, LLM and BAR exams. Students were also informed regarding some scholarship programs. Several students had queries and it was answered by the resource person.
