Debate is one of the academic tools that improve critical thinking and public speaking skills. Students learn to graciously state one’s point with gentleness and to identify holes in their theories and concoct more balanced arguments. The Inter Class Debate Competition was held for classes XI and XII on 28th November, 2019.
The event was organized in the Pamela Hall and was graced by the presence of Honourable Director Sir who meticulously noted down the strength and weakness of each participant and guided them accordingly.
The topic for the debate was ‘The only way to minimize human suffering and pain is to control our needs’. The participants presented their views and convinced the audience of their beliefs. Armed with good oratory skills and facial expressions the participant’s delighted the audience. Kshitiz Mayank (XII A), Ayush Kumar (XI C), Zainab Fatima (XII D) were awarded the first, second and third prizes respectively. Director Sir and Principal Ma’am distributed the prizes and certificates.
