Students of Psychology Stream of class XI and XII embarked for a study tour to Utkarsh Seva Sansthan on 4 July 2024. During their visit they observed differently abled children and adults with ADHD Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Intellectual disabilities, Learning disorders, Neurodevelopmental Motor disorders and Mental retardation. Different symptoms of the disorders were very practically explained by Director Mrs. Manisha Krishna and teacher in charge Dr. Smita Tripathi. Students also learnt and minutely observed different therapies like behaviour therapy, applied therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, CBT, Special occupational therapies, Speech therapy and sensory motor therapy. This experience provided the students with a deeper understanding of the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options for learning disabilities and Neurodevelopmental disorders, leaving them with an invaluable and unforgettable experience.
