WORKSHOP 19TH JUNE
A teacher’s workshop was organized on 19th June 2018 in St Karen’s High school. The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Salony Priya, the Director of Ummeed counselling and consulting services and a leading Child psychologist, H.R Trainer and Education consultant.
The workshop dealt with-
1.Millennium challenges for educators
2.Dealing with Behavioural problem in adolescents and children -a non-punitive approach to behaviour management.
3.Child Rights – Indian context.
4.POCSO law, implications for educators.
The workshop was instrumental in sensitizing the teachers about the approach towards behavioural problem, Childs rights and the need to bring in awareness amongst the students and community at large to prevent sexual abuse of children.
