The special assembly commemorating the 78th Independence Day at St. Karen's High School on 13th and 14th August was a culmination of dedicated efforts from teachers and students of Std 6 and Std 7. These teachers invested considerable time and effort in preparing the students for the event. Their guidance and encouragement enabled the students to deliver poignant patriotic dances, songs, and presentations that resonated with the spirit of nationalism.
To celebrate the occasion, students presented patriotic dances and songs, and some adorned attires resembling freedom fighters, infusing the event with a deep sense of patriotism.
Vice Principal Sanjay Joseph lead the students in a pledge where they greeted and shook hands with each other. They pledged to uphold mutual respect, celebrate each other’s successes, and offer support as needed, all aimed at contributing to the nation's pride and progress. The assembly also highlighted the importance of healthy habits and fostering friendships among classmates, as emphasized by Primary Coordinator Sumita Ma'am. The event concluded with a strong message of unity and responsibility, leaving a lasting impact on the school community.
