Debate is contention in argument, strife, dissension, quarreling, controversy and especially a formal discussion on a particular topic. The individual skills learned through debate have a broader impact on the society. Std X fiercely participated in the English debate competition which was held on 16th May 2018 in the Pamela Hall. There were total seventeen participants and seven rebuttalers. The motion for the debate was “Excess Money drives us evil” All the participant’s spoke very well. The rebuttals were quick and witty and tired the speakers with intelligent questions. They got satisfying answer from the speakers. The competition ended with Director sir’s speech which motivated everyone present there the winners were as follows:
