To raise awareness about the deep-rooted social evil of the dowry system, the students of Class 8G presented a thought-provoking role play under the guidance of their Social Studies teacher, Ms. Simran Mishra. The performance, held in Pamela Hall, highlighted the negative consequences of dowry practices, such as gender discrimination, financial burdens on families, and social injustice.
The young performers skillfully portrayed the emotional and societal impact of dowry, urging the audience to take a stand against this regressive tradition. Their powerful message emphasized the need for education, equality, and empowerment to eliminate this social evil from society.
The event was graced by our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Seema Singh, who appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue being ambassadors of social change.
