St. Karen's High School kicked off "Festival of Books and Reading" with grand Inauguration in Patna on December 15, 2023. It was 3 days’ festivities- 15th, 16th and 17th of December. St. Karen's High School, in collaboration with Scholastic, commenced its eagerly awaited "Festival of Books and Reading" on December 15, 2023, marking the beginning of a literary journey for students and literature enthusiasts alike. The festivities opened with an auspicious inauguration ceremony at 9:00 am, highlighted by the symbolic lighting of the lamp, signifying the enlightenment that literature brings. Principal Seema Singh extended a warm welcome, followed by a motivational address from Academic Director Sharon ma’am, setting the tone for the literary extravaganza. Dr. Shankar Dutt, the esteemed Guest of Honour, delivered a thought-provoking address emphasizing the crucial role of literature in education. Sarvagya Anupam, the Head Boy, added a student's perspective with an insightful speech, underlining the significance of literature in shaping young minds. The morning concluded with the official inauguration of the festival by Academic Director Sharon Galstaun and Chief Guest Dr. Shanker Dutt, followed by an enriching cultural program that showcased the diverse talents of the students.
