CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION for the Under Privileged
Venue: Kurji Holy Family Hospital
Eager and apprehensive faces welcomed us as we entered the gates of Kurji Holy Family Hospital. It was a red letter day for all the children of the surrounding slums. On the occasion of Children's day, several Under- Privileged children from various areas (Naach Bagicha, Bata, Nehru Nagar, Raamji Chauk) came together to celebrate this auspicious day. They were filled with such enthusiasm that made us content.
Caritas India provided lunch for them. And Caritas India's representatives Mr. Suju Mathew was also present there. KHFH's administrator Sister Jackulin Jesu was also present as a chief guest. St. Karen's High School's Vice-Principal Anjana James was the guest of honor. Several games were conducted such as frog race, biscuit race, toffee race and running race, where the participants surprised everyone with their caliber. We, the students of St. Karen's High School felt honored to be a part of the celebration.
