A study tour to IIT Patna was organised on 24th November 2023. A group of 140 students were taken around the campus by Dr. Priyanka Tripathi faculty of IIT Patna and her team of young research scholars. The students visited various laboratories, including Physics, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. and had a great opportunity to understand some sophisticated instruments. Prof Ajay D Thakur and Dr Santosh Kumar of the Physics Department demonstrated some experiments like the Helmholtz square experiment, an experiment related to the strength of electromagnetic waves and the refraction of light. In the Chemistry labs, students witnessed a demonstration of measuring the pH value of water from different sources, providing practical insights. The Professors encouraged the students to compete IIT entrance examination and achieve their dreams. The students, having gained a comprehensive overview of the prestigious institution were left motivated to work hard and turn their aspirations into reality.
