On September 28th, 2023, the Class 12 students of St. Karen's High School were treated to an enlightening career counselling session, thanks to the dedicated team at I Dream Career. The session, conducted by Mr. Lokman Singh and Mrs Pritta Dutt, proved to be a valuable resource for these young minds as it provided them with a plethora of insights into the diverse world of career opportunities that await them across different academic streams.
The event, which took place on September 28th, 2023, was a pivotal moment for these students as they explored the various paths that lay ahead of them. With a keen focus on the three primary academic streams – Science (PCB & PCM), Commerce, and Humanities – the session aimed to equip the students with a deep understanding of their potential career options.
Students from the Science stream, be it with a specialization in Biology (PCB) or Mathematics (PCM), found the discussions to be particularly enriching. They were provided with valuable information that illuminated the myriad possibilities within their chosen fields, from pursuing careers in medicine and engineering to cutting-edge scientific research and diverse opportunities in the field of medical and healthcare.
For the Commerce stream, the session shed light on the world of finance, business management, and entrepreneurship. It offered them valuable insights into the business landscape and the diverse range of careers they can pursue to make a mark in the corporate world.
The Humanities stream students found the session to be eye-opening. They discovered the vast array of opportunities available to them in fields such as arts, literature, social sciences, and beyond. The session emphasized that their chosen path is no less promising and rewarding than any other.
