The career counselling session was held on 19 July 2023 in Pamela Hall. It aimed to assist our students in making informed decisions about their future education and career paths.The objective of the Career Counselling Session:The primary objective of the career counselling session was to guide the Class 12 students in understanding their interests, aptitudes, and strengths, and to provide them with the necessary information about various career options available to them. Additionally, we aimed to equip them with knowledge of the admission process for higher education, entrance examinations, and scholarship opportunities.The career counselling session was structured as follows:Introduction and Icebreaker: The session started with a brief introduction and an icebreaker activity to create a comfortable and engaging atmosphere.Career Presentations: presentations on various career paths, including but not limited to engineering, medicine, arts, commerce, science, and vocational courses.
Interactive Q&A Session: An open question-and-answer session allowed students to seek clarification on their doubts and concerns regarding specific careers or educational pathways.Feedback and Outcome:The career counselling session received positive feedback from students.Students found the information presented helpful and relevant, and many expressed gratitude for gaining clarity about their career goals. As an outcome of the career counselling session, several students have shown interest in pursuing fields they had not considered before. Additionally, students have become more aware of the importance of academic performance and extracurricular activities in shaping their future prospects.Workshop conducted by: Ajit Mishra Sir & Preeti Singh ma'am.
