Description: The Amity Institute of English Studies and Research conducted a literature festival called "Carnivalesque 2.0" from 24th to 26th April 2023, which was a celebration of literature, creativity, and the arts. The festival provided a platform for literature enthusiasts to showcase their talents and engage in various literary activities. Students from St. Karen's High School participated in the festival and demonstrated their skills in different categories. The students not only competed but also learned from the other participants and honed their abilities. The festival was a vibrant and dynamic affair, featuring a range of literary events and competitions. There were events such as Con Closet (Mono Act), Battle of Books (Debate), Pirates of Litsvilla (treasure hunt based on English Literature), Drawmics (Comic Strip), and Lingo( Open Mic). Each event tested the participants' creativity, knowledge, and skills in the field of literature. In the Con Closet (Mono Act) category, Karishma (12F - session 2022-23) won the first prize, while Ruhi Kumari (12F - session 2022-23) won the second prize. In the Battle of Books (Debate) category, Anmol Raj (12E - session 2022-23) won the third prize. In the Pirates of Litsvilla (treasure hunt based on English Literature) category, Bhumi Singh (12G), Sara Roy (12G), Shivanshi Singh (12G), Tanisha Sinha (12F), Ananya (12F), and Shambhavi (12F) won the first prize. In the Drawmics (Comic Strip) category, Mahima Piyusha (12G) won the third prize. In the Lingo (open mic) , Swastik Shree (12B) won the second prize.
