CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION
The cool morning of 14th November, 2022 began with excited energy of both students and teachers in St. Karen’s High School. Various activities were held to celebrate this day.
An inspirational movie “Seabiscuit” was screened for the students of Std.12 in the Pamela Hall. The students enjoyed the special screening which was based on the life and racing career of an undersized horse whose successes made him hugely popular.
The teachers of Std.10 came together with a special assembly to celebrate each child of the school. The programme kickstarted with a special prayer conducted by principal ma’am followed by the pledge, a speech in Hindi & English, a poem recitation a witty account of each other of the section of std. 10 presented by Manju miss with the title “Know Your Class”. To bring more revelry into the occasion, the students of 10A performed a dance on a popular no. followed by a hilarious skit and finally an enriching quiz conducted by principal ma’am. The students in each class were given gifts under 3 categories- Most disciplined, Most helpful and Most artistic.
A wonderful presentation by the teachers of the Primary wing showed their love and concern for the children. They presented a prayer, a short skit, song and dance which filled the excited children with fun and energy.
