A webinar was organized on the topic, ‘Teacher’s training on the way of Fighting Pandemic with Faith not Fear!’ on 13thJuly 2021. All the teachers of St. Karen’s High School and St. Karen's Secondary School participated in the event. The webinar was conducted by Mrs. Salony Priya who is a Counselling Psychologist working in the area of Education Management, Human Development & Training, Student Empowerment & Comprehensive Counselling for nearly 18 Years.
The speaker discussed various psychological aspects of the present lockdown situation and its impact on students, their parents and teachers alike. She made the teachers relate to lessons learnt in the pandemic and reminded about the strengths which kept them moving during the difficult times. The participants were guided to have a knowledge of their emotional self. The core life skills for social empowerment were highlighted.
All the participants eagerly attended the event and interacted enthusiastically with resource person and cleared their queries. They were very enthusiastic about the webinar and submitted a good feedback for the webinar.
