Description:
The Public Speaking Club organized the Show and Tell Competition for
classes 1 & 2 on 21 st August 2021 i.e. Saturday to strengthen the verbal
skills and to foster the public speaking competency of the young minds.
It was remotely conducted through a virtual classroom platform. The
children presented their favourite festivals, animals, cartoon characters,
fruits, seasons, and so on. They spoke proficiently and with ease on these
topics. Our helpful and passionate coordinator Ms. Rinku Banerjee always
guided and motivated the tiny tots.
The young ones used their imagination and creativity to create inspiring
presentations that reflected their skills, helped them to build their self-
confidence, self-reliance and language skills.
The competition was judged by Ms. Debleena Mukherjee, Ms. Sandhya
Hirwani, and Mr. George Alok Mitra. Ms. Sharon Galstaun (Academic Head
– SKS) and Ms. Seema Singh (Principal – SKHS) were our honorable
guests.
It was an interesting and thrilling experience for the kids sharing their
feelings with their peer group which provided a fun and comfortable learning
arena for everyone involved.
At the end, our guests and the judges appreciated the efforts put in by the Public Speaking club.
