Description:
An online debate competition was held for the students of Class X on 10th July 2021 where 15 active debaters expressed their views on the topic "Tourism should be banned to protect the environment". Ujjwal from 10N compered the contest with grace and promptness. The spectators listened to the compelling points made by students on both the sides of the argument. Although rebuttal was not possible, the speakers left the audience with many important points to ponder upon. The contest unearthed the valour and intellect of the tenthers even in a virtual environment. The judges, Ms. Subhadra Singh and Mrs. Chaitali Bhattacharya impartially marked the students on their ability to deliver and the quality of arguments. Harsh Vardhan of 10C and Tulika of 10B stood as Runner-Ups while Pranav of 10H and Pranjal of 10G grabbed the title of 'Promising Debaters'. The 'Best Debaters' of the competition were declared to be Raj Vardhan of 10K and Hansika Singh of 10N.
