Humorous Declamation Speech contest was held on 12th July, 2016. The idea presented by Preeti Ma’am, was very innovative and such kind of speech competition, was held for the first time in the history of St. Karen’s. Every participant did their best and it did not only enhance their routine skills, but acting skills as well. The topic of some of the speeches were- “My mother’s search for a perfect son-in-law”, “The power of speech”, “Problem faced by Indian Women and driving”, “Turning 30” etc. The judges were ‘Vice-Principal’ (Mrs. Anjana James) and ‘English Teacher’ (Mrs. Tasneem Khan). It ended with the speech of our honorable Director Sir. He told the spectators about the necessity of humor in every speech.
1st Position - Saksham Ojha (10-I) and Anmol Raj (10-F).
2nd Position - Amol Pushp (10-C).
3rd Position - Abhishek Anand (10-B).
