Labour day has always been celebrated with the spirit to thank the backbone of the country who work relentlessly to keep the wheels of the nation rolling. To appreciate their efforts round-the-clock, St. Karen’s celebrated “May Day” with an illustrative fancy dress by the kids of std I and II. It was a pleasure to see the children dressed up in different characters. The children were dressed in appropriate costume according to the theme, Labours Day. To add to the celebrations, the tenthers presented a very unique skit ‘Neev’ which applauded the labours - the very foundation of our country. The performance was followed by some melodious songs recreated by our very own Thappa Ji. The function ended on an inspirational note with Director Sir’s motivational speech and the distribution of gifts as a token of appreciation to all the Support Staff. Kamlesh Ji and Vijay Thappa were felicitated for their dedication and hard work for the school with certificates and cash award.
