St. Karen's High School creates leaders who excel in their lives as well. Investiture ceremony is one of the historical occasions when a school entrusts faith, hope and responsibility with the newly appointed school cabinet. The Investiture Ceremony was conducted in Pamela Hall on 5th May 2025. The event commenced with welcoming the Chief Guest with handing over a sapling, followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Thereafter the guests were welcomed with a welcome dance.
The Principal Mrs. Seema Singh addressed the council members and made them aware of their responsibilities. The Chief Guest for the occasion, Dr. Col. Tejinder Hundal, VSM is an Indian Army officer with over 25 years of experience He holds a PhD in Defense and Strategic Studies and an MPhil in International Relations. Being a keen observer of Indo-Pacific geopolitics, he specializes in the role of Indian soldiers in the World Wars. His first book explored India-Australia ties through Defense, Diplomacy, and Diaspora. His latest work, “We Too Were There – Indians at Gallipoli” presents the Gallipoli Campaign from a distinctly Indian perspective.
The leaders’ march by the members of all the four houses was the next event followed by pinning of the badges. Padmaja Anant and Harsh Kumar led the student council maintaining the tradition of the Head Boy and the Head Girl respectively. The oath taking ceremony was conducted by the Principal Mrs. Seema Singh. A Memento was presented to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude. Dr. Col. Tejinder Hundal shared his views on the occasion and congratulated the council members and gave them a gentle reminder to fulfill their responsibilities diligently. The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal Mr. Sanjay Joseph.
St. Karen’s High School carefully grooms the student leaders of the school every year so that they can make their school, their society and their country proud.
