The school campus was abuzz with excitement and intellectual
fervor as the English Declamation Competition took place in the Pamela Hall on 18th November 2025. The event showcased the exceptional public speaking and
theatrical skills of students from class 8 as they delivered impassioned
speeches by famous personalities.
The competition was organized with the aim of fostering
confidence, improving public speaking, and encouraging a healthy spirit of
competition among students.
The event began with a welcome address by Vice Principal Sir who highlighted
the importance of effective communication in today's world. The participants
delivered powerful and persuasive speeches with excellent diction, voice
modulation, and gestures. The audience was enthralled by the variety of topics
covered, which ranged from technology and social change to inspirational
messages and environmental issues.
The performances were evaluated by an esteemed panel of
judges, including Mr. P.C. Das Sir, Mrs.
Seema R. Joseph who are experts in the English language and public
speaking. The judges based their decisions on content, delivery, confidence,
and overall impact.
Competition results
After a series of captivating performances, the Coordinator Ma’am declared the
results. The top positions were awarded to the following students:

Place: Riddhi from 8 I
- Second
Place: Garima Kumari from 8 D and Aayati from 8 E
- Third
Place: Anushka Roy from 8 F
Principal Ma’am felicitated the winners and praised all the
participants for their hard work and dedication. Principal emphasized that such
competitions are a vital part of the school's commitment to the holistic
development of its students, preparing them to become confident future leaders.
The competition concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the
students feeling empowered and inspired.
