The event started with a standing ovation given by the students of class 12th and the teachers as the chief guest and speaker Colonel Karan Mehta stepped on the stage to address the audience. The colonel introduced himself as a 4th generation army officer who is a satellite analyst and a leading officer in the ‘Armoured Corps’ of T72 tanks at the Siachen Glacier. An in depth knowledge about the Indian Army was given to the students. A variety of related topics were discussed. The presentation started with the qualities and eligibility needed by the students to be accepted into the army.
